I had a great time at the club champioship. I didnt shoot my best scores ever but I had a good time. On Saturday I shot the 200 singles with my new Perazzi and shot a 91 96 for a total 187. Not bad for my first time with the new gun. On Sunday I shot a 84 in doubles with my new Beratta and another 84 in caps with my Perazzi. Then later in the day just as I was about to leave I got picked to win the Beretta .22 neos! I want to thank Mr. Bill and the rest of the gang down at the club for a great shoot.
See Ya,

Arrived in Tucson tonight about 10:30 (Florida time). My guns aren't here. They were left back in the Tampa Airport. The people at baggage claim said that my guns would arrive at about 10:30 (Arizona time), that's 12:30 Florida time. On top of that I have to shoot 3 - 100 bird events tomorrow. Well, better late than never! The desert is pretty cool and I got to see a cactus!
See ya,

I got my guns back! I was very relieved that the airport had them and that I was able to start the shoot as planned. I had some decent scores and some not so decent scores but I won all 3 events today!

Singles- 25/24/24/23
Handicap- 20/20/25/24
Doubles- 43/44

Handicap was pretty interesting to say the least and doubles was consistent. I met some really nice people and got to see the desert. It was pretty cool but I didn't get to walk very far. Still, I had good time!
See ya,

I'm not quite sure how I did today in caps. I wasn't shooting very good at all and in the last house I shot a 20! Actually most of my scores were just OK My scores were-

Singles- 23/22/24/23
Doubles- 41/44
Handicap 23/21/22/20

Everyone else was shooting below average scores too, so I think that when the light changed people couldn't see the birds as well. My scores weren't great but I still had a good time!

Today I shot very poorly in doubles and just O.K. in handicap. I wasn't able to see the right birds because I had my hat down too low and could use even less of my peripheral vision. In handicap I was all over the place. My scores were-

Caps- 23/20/23/25
Doubles- 37/36 :-(

The kid that beat me had never won an event before so in the end I was okay with not winning that event. I had a good time and suspect that I won caps.
See ya,
Nathan

Today and yesterday were very good days. I shot my best 200 singles score yesterday and my 2nd best doubles score today:

Singles 98/95 = 193
Doubles 48/44 = 92
Caps 21/22/21/22 = 86

Not my best caps score but it was enough to win sub-junior. Also won sub-junior HAA with 371. We had a great time and definitely recommend Tucson as a great place to shoot. See you on Saturday for the Fall Championship.
